Cymbidium Mosaic Virus is probably the most prevalent of the viruses found in cultivated orchids. Like most other orchid viruses, CymMV is almost never found in wild orchids. However, this virus has been found in almost every genus of cultivated orchids. This virus is spread throughout orchid collections through contaminated tools and pots.
