Frequently found in mosaic-diseased cowpea (Vigna unguiculata). Incidence in this crop may be up to 100%. About 50% reduction in fresh plant weight and in number and weight of pods is reported. Also obtained from severely diseased soybeans and from other leguminous crops growing near infected cowpea plants.
