Peach rosette mosaic virus causes diseases in grapevine, peach and blueberry. In grapevine (Vitis labrusca cv.) it induces delayed dormancy breaking, late and uneven bloom, small and uneven berry clusters, leaf deformity and mottling, and cane growth is short and crooked giving vines an umbrella-like growth habit. Vines become unproductive and may die. In peach, it causes a rosette mosaic disease (Prunus persica) in which trees show delayed foliation, chlorotic mottling, and distortion to early formed leaves and shortening of the internodes to produce a rosetted appearance. In highbush blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum cvs) it causes leaves to become strap-like or crescent shaped. Symptoms are not uniformly distributed over the entire bush.
